Mind, Body, and Spirit are an interwoven Whole, and we individually and collectively are a reflection of that trinity. Between you (the readers), and us (the editors), and our spirituality, we can feel good about how and who we are in the world, the gifts we share through our writing and actions, and maybe leave the world a little better off for having passed this way.

THE BEST OF THE SPIRITUAL NEWSLETTERS
~*Flower6*~  ~*Flower6*~  ~*Flower6*~  ~*Flower6*~  ~*Flower6*~  ~*Flower6*~  ~*Flower6*~

If you're reading this, it means I'm not here for whatever reason, and we're resorting to my backup issue for just such an unexpected event as whatever it is going on with me right now.

This is, far and away, the most difficult newsletter for me to write. What is not important enough to slate to backup? What can wait a while? If you ask me, not a thing - at least not when it comes to Spirituality. It is all important. It all needs to be discussed, explored, mulled over, enjoyed, and embraced.

Since I don't want to push any of the issues on my mind to the backburner, I finally came up with an idea!

The Best Of . . .

Radio stations use this method when my favorite morning show hosts need a vacation. Television stations do it too, by showing repeat episodes. To make the show seem "new," they show clips of old episodes, sometimes tossing in "never before seen" bits to keep you watching.

With hundreds of issues to draw from, that's the path I decided to take. You won't find any of my own newsletters included here since my first editorial isn't even out yet at the time of this writing. This is a good thing, I think. By not including any of my own material, this can serve more as a tribute to the editors who have come before me, and a reminiscence for you of the "good ol' days."

Keep in mind, this is the "best of" from my personal point of view, though I tried to be as varied as possible to ensure everyone's preferences are represented. If I fail in this, please forgive me, and let me know what you'd like to see included in the next "best of" backup, which I now have to submit in case another day like this one crops up. You'll find that in the older newsletters, some of the items highlighted no longer exist. I didn't let that sway me from including those editions here though, because the messages written by the editors are the offerings today. Not all of the editors are represented here, and I apologize if I've left anyone out whose work you would have liked to revisit. There just wasnt' room!

Using a backup also means there is no Ask & Answer in this issue since I don't want any of your letters to stagnate here for who knows how long - could be months or even years.

As for the exercise this month, how about a "best of" list of your own? This could be a collection of your own items, the works of others, or maybe even an essay, short story, or poem about the best days of your life! Our most wonderful moments usually include Spirituality at its finest. Whatever you choose to do, be sure to send us a link when you're done.

Now onto the {c}The Best of the Spiritual Newsletter. To really enhance the experience, I recommend you turn on some music, sit back, relax, and lose yourself in the music and the memories. Enjoy!

Be well and embrace your Spirit!

Some of the names below may look familiar; others may not. For their own reasons, a few of the past editors left the site, or have stepped back from moderating. I'm glad they were here though, for the gems they left for us.

Curious about different types of Wicca(if you haven't learned about it yet) or would like a recap? This is the issue to check out.

"September 24, 2003: amawitch

Friendships are such a comfort. In this edition, you'll find a heartwarming look at friendship and strengthening these unique and chosen bonds we have with others.

"December 17, 2003: tornadoday

Now this one is Christmas-themed, but that just happens to be one of my favorite times of the year! This is filled with all kinds of good things that are good any time of the year!

"December 3, 2003: kiwiangel

I remember this inspirational tale when I'd rather not rely on the overused "lemons into lemonade" analogy.

"October 17, 2001: 6149

A discussion of The Four Agreements, the book by Don Miguel Ruiz. I love that book!

"November 28, 2001: earthwoman

Seeking Balance. It is something we are taught we need to achieve, and in this edition, you'll find some helpful advice on how to bring your own life into balance.

"August 7, 2002: papillon

Because this is a backup issue, I thought it best to not include any letters here.
